Co-Curricular Transcript Walkthrough

Students can use OrgSync to generate a verified record of their involvement to document experiences gained outside the classroom. This document is your co-curricular transcript, and can be used to apply for grad school, provide speaking points for job interviews, and to showcase your leadership experience. To access everything pertaining to your transcript, click on your name in the top right of the screen then select Involvement. The Involvement tool displays a list of all your activities and memberships documented on OrgSync.

There are two involvement reports: the full involvement history and the co-curricular transcript. The full involvement history is an unofficial list of your activity and memberships. It can be exported at anytime via the Reports tab. The co-curricular transcript if your official record and it must be approved by your campus administrators.

By default, the Involvement tool displays all of your activities. Navigate to your memberships by choosing that option along the left-hand toolbar. For every entry, you have the option to display or hide it on each of your involvement reports. Look under the Report column to see where your entries will appear. This could be none, full history (the full involvement record), record (the co-curricular transcript), or all (both). Make sure entries are set to "record" or "all" if you want to display them on your co-curricular transcript. Hover over the wrench icon on the right side of the page to adjust this setting.

Sort through your activity and make sure the Report setting is correct for each entry. When everything looks good, select the Reports tab on the left-hand toolbar. Under the section titled Co-Curricular Record, click the Download button get a glimpse of the final product. Use this tool to make sure everything looks the way you want it.

When you're ready to receive a final copy, click Request Official Transcript. Assuming you don't already have a pending request, you will be prompted to enter your email address. Depending on your community's settings, you may or may not have the option to request a paper copy. If you click this checkbox, you will be required to enter a mailing address and a requested number of copies. Once your request is approved, you will receive an email notification with a copy of your transcript.
