To add a new page to your website, click the Add a Page button in the top right of the website builder while under the Pages tab. If you would like to edit an existing page, hover over the gears icon to the right of a page and choose the Edit option. This will bring you to an interface that allows you to customize your page name and content. The page name you choose will be appended to the end of your website’s URL. We suggest keeping your name descriptive and concise.
For the page content, you are provided an editor to fully customize what the user will see. For those that prefer to write in HTML, click the Source button to reveal the page's underlying code. You can switch back and forth between the code and its output by re-clicking the Source button. As mentioned in the last article, creating a new page does not automatically generate a link on the navigation bar. Click here to learn how to add a page to your website's navigation.
The website builder is unique because it provides built-in processes that integrate with the modules in your portal. This makes it easy to post portal content and removes the frustration associated with updating and maintaining a website. Any content created within your portal that is set to public can be shared to your website. The mediums by which this content is shared are called OS Modules. These modules can be accessed in the top left of the editor while editing a page.
Click this button to select which module you'd like to place on your page. Click here for a complete list of the available options. After selecting a module, its quick URL will appear on the editor. To view the final product, click the Save option, then View your website. At this time, these modules are hard-coded and have limited customization options. See the screenshot below for an example of the events module displayed on an organization's website.
